World-class snowcross action took place at Sudbury Downs during the weekend, at which various age groups of racers took to the track in weather hovering above freezing
A family-friendly weekend of snowmobile fun was available at Sudbury Downs during the weekend, as hundreds of people gathered to take in the Sudbury Pro Snowcross Races.
Sponsored by Algonquin Equipment and Ski-Doo, the Sudbury Pro Snowcross Races event featured 22 racing classes from children through to adults.“The Sudbury market is a fabulous market for us, so we wanted to come back here,” Canadian Snowcross Racing Association said at the time. “We want to keep on growing the event into a really big race.”
It was an unseasonably balmy weekend, with the temperature hovering north of freezing throughout both days.
