Cops are investigating
We previously reported that eight vehicles were torched in Penilee and Cardonald, sparking a police investigation.EIGHT cars TORCHED in just 50 minutes in Glasgow areaParts of the cars can be seen melted to the ground, meanwhile, some of the windscreens are completely gone.Fire crews attended Penneld Road at 4.22am, Craigmuir Road at 4.33am, Hollybush Road at 4.42am, Clavens Road at 4.45am and Tweedsmuir Road at 5.05am.
A force spokesperson said: “Around 4.30am on Thursday, January 26, officers were called to a report of eight vehicles set on fire at separate addresses in the Penilee area. “Officers are carrying out enquiries in the area and would appeal to anyone who has any information regarding these incidents to contact Govan Police Office through 101 with reference 0382 of January 26.Share
