This was a crazy summer for the Phoenix Suns. The offseason had distractions that put basketball-related questions on the back burner during media day.
One of the biggest was the speculation about Kevin Durant possibly being traded to Phoenix, after the Nets superstar suggested the Suns would be a team he'd like to play for.
Three of their starters Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, and backup point guard Cameron Payne were each surprised Durant requested a trade to his preferred destinations Phoenix and Miami at the beginning of free agency on June 30. , said the Durant trade rumors will forever stay in his memory and he doesn't want to leave Phoenix. Bridges was among names circulated in the trade speculation.
