Despite the government\u0027s focus on growth, Saskatchewan ranked seventh among provinces last year and lost a net 5,883 to other provinces.
Only Manitoba lost more people to interprovincial migration last year, as a percentage of its population at the year’s start.
Last year, the same year for which the government is bragging about growth, the province suffered a net loss of 5,883 people to other provinces . Only Manitoba, Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador posted lower growth rates last year, the highest year for growth in Canada since 1957.
