Peter Kay treats terminally-ill Lancashire woman to lunch at Michelin-starred White Fence

A woman from Lancashire who was given just 12 months has been treated to lunch with her family by comedian Peter Kay.

This is an an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer and Laura, from Barrowford, was later found to have eight tumours. She pulled the breaks on life as she knew it after being told she only had around 12 months to live.Laura recently had her fourth major surgery, but Laura's mum Nicola shared the devastating news that her tumour had grown. Sharing the news on her Twitter page, she said that "things feel pretty bleak".
