Paramount Plus releases the first trailer for Pet Sematary: Bloodlines, a new prequel to 2019's Pet Sematary arriving in October 2023.

In King’s novel, Jud Crandall is Louis Creed’s elderly neighbor residing in Ludlow, Maine. Jud first introduces Louis to the pet “sematary” hidden away in the woods behind his house and tells him about how the ancient burial ground has supernatural abilities to resurrect the dead. Jud is later killed when Louis’ son , Gage, dies, is buried, and then comes back to life as a demonic entity.
