Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 1600 block of East Ohio Street just after 1 p.m. on reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male in the backyard suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The events leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
