Perry Johnson, who was running for the Republican nomination for president before suspending his campaign last week, has endorsed former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Johnson, a businessman from Michigan whose campaign was largely self-funded, issued a statement endorsing Trump on social media on Monday.
"I look forward to assisting in efforts to elect him next year and uniting with other conservatives to defeat Joe Biden in November," he added. "The corruption among leaders at the RNC during this process was appalling," Johnson wrote. "I've said it before and I'll say it again, the people should decide the next president of the United States, not the head of the RNC and her cronies."
