Pep Guardiola has lifted the lid on what he told the Manchester City players immediately after their draw to RB Leipzig MCFC
Guardiola gestured at his players, although he’s denied he berated their performance
Unhappy with what he saw, Guardiola entered the pitch at full-time and began to berate his players, who looked rather sheepish. On the conversation he had with his players, Guardiola told BT Sport: “They were heads down. I said, ‘Why are your heads down, be heads up, it was really good the way you play’. If people don’t like it, it doesn’t matter…”Guardiola may or may not be annoyed about his team’s second-half display after an excellent opening 45 minutes, but he will surely be annoyed when he sees replays of the closing scenes.
