Penticton tallied 304 goals and allowed 96 in league play, giving them a goals differential of 208.
The West Kelowna Warriors were the next highest team on the goals for chart with their 211, followed by the Nanaimo Clippers at 207 and the Surrey Eagles at 200.
“I’m impressed with the group, doing what we did from start to finish and having 13 guys back who had done it last year,” said Fred Harbinson, Penticton’s general manager and coach. “It would have been understandable to have guys turning it off here and there, not doing that extra work in practice or the weight room. It was completely the opposite with our group. I can’t remember the last time I stepped off the ice after practice and said, ‘We weren’t very good today.’
