The 89-year-old was struck by the bike on Blackness Road, Linlithgow
A pensioner has died in hospital after a horror crash with a cyclist on a Scots road. Emergency services scrambled to Blackness Road in Linlithgow at around 10.20am on Sunday, January 29.
Police Scotland have launched an appeal for information following the fatal smash. Officers are hoping to speak to the occupants of two cars who passed the cyclist just before the incident. “I would also appeal to anyone who was driving in the area and who may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us. We are particularly keen to trace the occupants of two vehicles we believed passed the cyclist just prior to the crash.”
