Pennsylvania was recently ranked as being among the top 20 happiest states in the U.S.
which graded each states’ happiness based upon seven key dimensions: “Employment;” “Leisure Activities;” “Mental Health;” “Personal Finance;” “Personal Relationships;” “Physical Health;” and “Social Policies.”
While New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, and Massachusetts ended up making up the top five in the number five, four, three, two, and one spots, respectively, Pennsylvania still managed to rank among the happiest states on the list in the 20th overall ranking. “Aristotle said, ‘Happiness depends upon ourselves,’ but many other factors impact our happiness in modern time,” reads the study.
