Pennsylvania has a favorite cereal, according to a new study.
a year’s worth of Google search data for the most popular cereals to see which reigned supreme in each state.“Looking at the number of Google searches for the term ‘Lucky Charms’ in Pennsylvania, it’s obvious this breakfast cereal is the favorite,” reads the study’s release. “Breaking down the data, an estimated 68,880 [people] searched for Lucky Charms on average since February of last year.”
In second place as Pennsylvania’s most beloved cereal was Cheerios, and in third, Rice Krispies. Rounding out the top five were Count Chocula and Cinnamon Toast Crunch in fourth and fifth, respectively. “Pennsylvanians take their breakfast seriously, and when it comes to cereal, they have a wide range of favorites to choose from,” adds the release. “From classic options to new and innovative blends, they have a diverse palate when it comes to the most important meal of the day.”
