Secretary of the commonwealth says election integrity is key
With less than three weeks to go before the general election, Pennsylvania's secretary of the commonwealth says work is underway to ensure things go smoothly, despite issues with mail ballots in some Susquehanna Valley counties and the length of time it may take to process every mail ballot.
'Schmidt said the amount of time it takes to count mail ballots in communities, like Philadelphia, where there is a high volume of votes submitted that way, can sometimes lead to misconceptions about how results are tallied.
