A person was fatally struck by a car Monday night along a busy Freehold Township highway, authorities said.
A spokesperson for the Freehold Township Police Department told NJ Advance Media at about 8 p.m. that officers were on scene of a fatal crash in the area of Route 9 and that there would be traffic delays for the next couple of hours.
