Toronto Police said they were called to the Eglinton Ave. E.-Mason Rd. area after a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian was reported Wednesday at 12:41 p.m. A red Ford Escape, being driven by a 68-year-old woman, had been travelling eastbound on Eglinton when it struck the pedestrian, who was crossing northbound at a crosswalk on Eglinton.From our newsroom to your inbox at noon, the latest headlines, stories, opinion and photos from the Toronto Sun.
