Toronto’s Pearson International Airport says it is dealing with a “security incident” amid reports that flights were not deplaning or taking off Thursday morning.
The airport did not provide much detail, but said in a response to travellers “we are currently with a security incident. Operations will resume very shortly.”
Messages posted to social media early Thursday said passengers had been informed of a delay due to a “security breach” at the airport. The Greater Toronto Airports Authority did not immediately return a request for comment about the incident.No injuries were reported.
