Mavs football team holds their own in game-like half with Angleton

The scrimmage concluded with the coaches off the field and a live half ensued. The two teams walked away with one touchdown each. What would have been the equivalent to the second quarter, the Mavs scored first, before Angleton tied it on their final possession. On Saturday, when Angleton is back at their facilities, you know they’ll be rewinding that portion of the videotape over and over again. There wasn’t a Wildcat receiver anywhere near Roberts.
“We had a play called up and they ended up switching the coverage. Our receiver, Ethan, he changed it and I didn’t recognize the change so I took off to the right. I saw it and I just ran,” Stallings said.
