Reece Kelly, 30, is charged with the murder of Dallas Kelly
The parents of a four-month-old baby who died in Workington have appeared in court in connection to his death.
on October 15 2022. Georgia Wright, 22, is accused of causing or allowing the death of a child. Both parents are also accused of neglect of Dallas and another child, who can not be named for legal reasons. During the hearing, Kelly, of Hunday Court, Workington, and Wright, of Workington, Cumbria, confirmed their names and dates of birth, however they did not enter any pleas to the charges they face.Judge Nicholas Barker set a date for Kelly and Wright to stand trial. They will appear at Carlisle Crown Court on April 17 2023 for a plea hearing. A three-week trial has been scheduled to take place in Carlisle on May 30 2023.
