A poll released Tuesday found that more parents trust Democrats on the economy, but overall, more voters trust Republicans on economic issues, polls show.

Parent voters are more likely to vote for a Democratic candidate than a Republican one when it comes to the economy, according to a new poll released Tuesday.

The NPU poll featured more than 1,000 registered voters who are parents or guardians of K-12 students. Other polls have shown thatNew York Times Sabrina Jackson waits while her dad, Jack Jackson, fills out a ballot at the St. Pauls National Guard Armory on Election Day on November 3, 2020, in St. Pauls, North Carolina. NPU data found that more parent voters trust Democrats on the economy than Republicans.
