El papa Francisco publicó el miércoles una actualización de su histórica encíclica de 2015 sobre medio ambiente en la que señala y desafía a los líderes mundiales a comprometerse a objetivos vinculantes para ralentizar el cambio climático antes de que sea demasiado tarde.
El pontífice advirtió que la creación de Dios, que se calienta cada vez más, está llegando rápidamente a un “punto de no retorno”.
“Ahora somos incapaces de frenar el enorme daño que hemos causado. Apenas tenemos tiempo para evitar daños aún más trágicos”, advirtió.
