The actor has reportedly been moonlighting as a dog walker during her stay in New York City after moving to the East Coast to star as Roxie Hart inthat she wasn't able to bring her four dogs with her while living in the city during her eight-week run in the musical, but was still taking daily walks in Central Park. Those strolls apparently gave her the idea to ask her assistant if he knew anyone in the city who might be in need of a dog walker.
This career move makes a lot of sense for Anderson who has long been an outspoken animal lover and PETA advocate. Back in March, she also told thethat after moving to Manhattan from her remote ranch on Vancouver Island, Canada, she was trying to get into the rhythm of city life, starting by taking daily jogs in Central Park undercover. She explained, “That’s how I get my dose of dogs every day, because my dogs couldn’t come to New York.
