A Palos Verdes woman who collapsed on the finish line of the Los Angeles Marathon has died.
Trisha Paddock completed the 13.1 mile Charity Challenge Half Marathon Sunday before suffering a heart attack. She was 46. Over a dozen Los Angeles Fire Department personnel provided medical assistance prior to transporting her to a local hospital, where she passed away later in the day. Trisha was raising funds for The Asian American Drug Abuse Program, a charity whose mission is to Change Lives and Save Families. A Go Fund Me has been set up to support the family with medical bills and other critical expenses:
