The awards recognise the best curry restaurants and chefs from around the UK.
The 1st Nation's Curry Awards 2023 – which celebrate the best curry houses and chefs across the United Kingdom – took place at a glittering ceremony on Monday, February 20, at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel, with over 150 guests in attendance.
And several Scottish sites were recognised including Indian by Nature in Paisley, which was named the overall best restaurant in Scotland.Other Scottish winners included legendary city centre eatery Swadish, which took home the Indian Restaurant of the Year Scotland crown, and Taal Restaurant in Strathaven, which was named Curry Restaurant of the Year for Scotland.
These Awards celebrate the UK’s rich and diverse curry culture and encourages the continued growth and evolution of the industry, with the judges saying that the winners have "distinguished themselves with their exceptional quality, innovation, and consistency in offering a truly memorable dining experience".
