Walker never broke eye contact with his pitcher while no doubt delivering some pointed commentary about the strike zone, and Moore ejected him while listening to their conversation.Right-hander Jay Jackson spent Monday’s off-day back home in Salt Lake City, Utah, reading Mickey Mouse books to his 11-day-old baby son in the neonatal intensive care unit. Jay Ricardo Bautista Jackson was born 14 to 15 weeks premature and will likely remain in the unit until at least October.
Jackson was the second reliever out of the Jays bullpen Tuesday and, after giving up a seeing-eye single to the first batter he faced, retired six in a row, including Fernando Tatis Jr., Soto, Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts.
