Upon arrival, police searched the area and found multiple shell casings. They were setting up a perimeter when Patrick Gleba, 27, started firing upon several officers from a duplex.
Sergeant David Stuck, 42, was shot in the leg and took cover. Emergency treatment was performed on him at the scene and he was transported by a police car to a hospital. He underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition, reports said. Gleba, who police said was wearing ballistic armor, eventually surrendered to police. No one else was injured.
