Drug paraphernalia was found throughout the Montgomery apartment of Tallia Charlebois according to preliminary hearing testimony.

Rymza.MUNCY -- A Lycoming County mother who admitted snorting fentanyl hours before her infant son died is headed to trial on charges that include involuntary manslaughter.
Charlebois claimed she woke up about 1 p.m. to find her son unresponsive. He was taken to UPMC Muncy where he was pronounced dead at 2:36 p.m. Under cross-examination he said Charlebois seemed concerned for her son but was not crying or visibly upset.EMT Jen Dauberman, that Charlebois told her fentanyl was her drug of choice and she had used it at about 1 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Trooper Sara Barrett, that drug paraphernalia was found throughout the Montgomery apartment, including under the seat of the baby’s swing. Not mentioned during the hearing was that state police responded to the welfare check and left after they determined Matteo was awake, alert and not in need of medical care and Charlebois was capable of caring for him.
He did not object to charges of endangering the welfare of children, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance being held for court.
