A jury in Chester County found a man guilty of first- and third-degree murder charges this week, after only a 15 minute deliberation.
that Danelo Cavalcante, 34, was convicted of charges that he killed Deborah Brandao, 33, in an attack in April of 2021.
Prosecutors claimed that Cavalcante left a barbecue at his home in King of Prussia, bringing with him a kitchen knife he had been using to cut meat at the gathering, to confront Brandao at her home. The two had been arguing, authorities claimed, asserting that Cavalcante was an abusive partner with a history of domestic violence.
