Temperatures reached the low 80s for highs this afternoon as sunshine controlled the skies over our region. Not much change is on the way in the short term. Clear skies continue to rule tonight and Tuesday. Warmth may even tick upward a bit.
It should be a pleasant evening with readings in the 70s through and beyond sunset. Humidity will keep temperatures from plummeting, with lows mainly in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Some patchy fog is possible, especially in valleys and near water. Winds should be light from the northeast.Another day of few, if any, clouds. Temperatures are expected to head for the low and mid-80s for highs, which is about 10 degrees above normal for the date. Winds should be light and variable.
