Smith and his rink from the Crapaud Community Curling Club entered the evening draw March 7 with a record of 2-3 in the Canadian men’s curling championship.Smith, third stone Adam Cocks, second stone Alex MacFadyen and lead Ed White split two games on March 6. The P.E.I. representatives outlasted Ontario’s Mike McEwen rink 8-7 in the morning draw and dropped an 8-6 decision to Team Canada’s Brad Gushue in the evening.Against Ontario, P.E.I.
