'Our nightmare neighbours were making our lives a misery – so we got them kicked out'

Chief Inspector John Owen, of Newcastle-under-Lyme local policing team, said the closure order granted by North Staffordshire Justice Centre was a last resort. "We have worked with partners in attempt to reduce the anti-social behaviour, but the occupants have not heeded the advice they have been given.
"This will be policed rigidly and anybody not adhering to the order will be dealt with in accordance with the powers that this order gives.
