Oscar Mayer returns to roots, changes iconic hotdog vehicle name back to 'Wienermobile' name.Just over four months after Oscar Mayer announced that the widely recognizable hot dog on wheels would go by a different name andthe name was changed back to its beloved “Wienermobile,” according to Oscar Mayer’s press release.
The yellow vehicle that rides around with a 27-foot-hotdog attached to the top was renamed earlier this year to celebrate the brand’s 100% beef franks, which came with a new recipe for loyal fans to try.
