My husband and I just returned from a trip to Austria. We had a young guide in Vienna who told us his monthly heating bill has quadrupled to the equivalent of $600 a month due to the war in Ukraine.
It was 15 degrees and snowing that day. He said since he has an infant and toddler, he has to keep his small apartment temperature at 68 degrees. We live in San Diego. Put on a sweater, buy a space heater, install solar and replace old gas appliances with electric.
