Opinion: Senators striving to make a political point may want to think twice about taking responsibility for U.S. foreign policy
Few people noticed amid the other headlines, but the Senate voted last week to end U.S. support for Saudi Arabia in its war in Yemen. The 54-46 vote, with seven Republicans joining the Democrats, marks eroding support for Donald Trump’s foreign policy with consequences that might not be the “peace” these Senators claim to want.
