A Saskatchewan advocate for Diabetes Canada believes the province could do more to support those who suffer from the pervasive disease.

I have been living with Type 1 diabetes since January of 2012. But this is not the reality for many living in Saskatchewan. Approximately 27 per cent of the population in Saskatchewan is living with . People in Saskatchewan can be spending anywhere between $414 and $7,790 per year out of their own pocket, just to manage their condition.
