wrestled a game into submission in Calgary and then collapsed against a flailing Canucks team. It’s been a busy week, with all the trades and travel, and at some point the real Maple Leafs will stand up. What are they right now?Loading...“Yeah, it’s a little up and down for us at times,” said Tavares, who scored Toronto’s lone goal on a feed fromon an early third-period power play.

All three were on the ice when the game fell apart seven minutes into the third: Toronto had tied the score and had another power play, and next thing you knew Vancouver had been gifted a two-on-one, finished byForty-four seconds later, J.T. “I mean, this is a similar game that we’ve played in these type of scenarios with teams that are out of the playoffs, that aren’t in the mix,” said head coach Sheldon Keefe. “Where we dominate a first period and you don’t score on your chances, you let the team hang around and give them life, you give them energy, you give them hope.”
