That’s a shame because what truly makes a ballpark a ballpark is not drink rails and video game stations, but its homegrown quirks — those magical irregularities that make each park not only look and feel different but play differently too. With some thought, and mere inches, the Rogers Centre outfield wall could have paid tribute to top players, marked iconic Blue Jays moments, and acknowledge the ballpark’s unique position as the home to the only MLB team in Canada.
