Opinion: How should modern society deal with the story of Santa Claus? [Opinion]
Publishing your editorial denying Santa Claus is somewhere between absurd political correctness and stupidity.
I believe lying to children about Santa Claus is a form of unintentional but often damaging child abuse. They went for the whole thing: The music, the jolly old elf, the “Night Before Christmas” story at bedtime, and hanging stockings by the fireplace. Just no snacks left for a non-existent person who couldn’t possibly make it down the chimney, much less around the world overnight.
