Opinion: Don't believe the 'no' on Measure H argument. San Diego City Council will have oversight. [Opinion]
It’s unfortunate the author didn’t take the time to actually understand the measure himself and the U-T Editorial Board took him at his word.Furthermore, the U-T Editorial Board should retract its opposition to Measure H.
The San Diego Union-Tribune Editorial Board stands by its recommendation of a “no” vote on Measure H in part because of former Deputy Chief City Attorney Hal Valderhaug’s objections to the lack of restrictions on the mayor’s power in the measure’s proposed City Charter change.
