Ontario Tech University is celebrating its largest-ever batch of newly-confirmed undergrads.
At more than 2,000 enrollments from the high-school level, Fall 2023 is seeing a rise of nearly 12 per cent over the year before. Generally, Ontario Tech is outpacing the province’s university system, which declined by 1.2 per cent during that same period. “Ontario Tech’s application and confirmation numbers over the past several academic cycles offer compelling evidence regarding the strength of our great degree programs and our ever-growing brand awareness,” said President and Vice-Chancellor Steven Murphy. Our reputation for high-quality teaching from outstanding faculty, and our embedded experiential workplace learning opportunities are clearly resonating with prospective students.
As well, the Oshawa-based university received nearly 12,800 applications through the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre , up 19.4 per cent from the year prior. That was the largest percentage-of-increase in Ontario. If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
