Ontario Shores will be receiving around $1-million in provincial funds for a number of patient care programs.“This investment will provide staff with training to improve care and treatment for patients with complex mental health issues,” said Whitby MPP Lorne Coe.$423,400 is meant for staffing, training and security in Ontario Shores’ forensic units.
$218,800 is meant for inpatient Dual Diagnosis Programs for people living with both a complex mental health issue and a developmental disability.$383,000 is meant for training and tools at forensic hospitals “These efforts will allow us to enhance services, support, and tools to meet the needs of our patients,” said Karim Mamdani, President and CEO of Ontario Shores.Ctrl+Enter
