Pride protester Bubba Pollock of London has been charged with criminal harassment after he took a bizarre selfie pic at a Windsor hospital.
Pollock now faces one count of criminal harassment, which is defined under the Criminal Code of Canada as conduct that causes another person to reasonably “fear for their safety or the safety of anyone known to them.”Article contentPunishments for summary conviction offences typically involve a fine of no more than $5,000 and/or up to six months in jail.
Pollock reportedly posted on social media that he was organizing the protest, and warned that he was bringing “patriots” to the event. The protesters were opposed by counter-protesters expressing support for Pride. Tensions rose and London police were required to separate the two sides.
