The homicide is the second of the year investigated by Brentwood police.
BRENTWOOD — One person died and three others were wounded early Thursday in a shooting outside a fitness center, police said.
Police were called to the 24 Hour Fitness in the 5900 block of Lone Tree Way about 1:55 a.m. Brentwood police Lt. Walter O’Grodnick said one adult was declared dead at the scene. Authorities did not identify him immediately. The other three people went to hospitals using their own transportation. One of the wounded people was a minor, O’Grodnick said. All three were expected to survive their injuries.
The shooting appeared to be sparked by an argument inside the gym or near the basketball court, O’Grodnick said. It then moved into the parking lot, where two shooters exchanged gunfire, O’Grodnick said.
