RCMP say Justin Heimbecker was last seen on foot and is believed to be armed.
At around 7:40 a.m. Friday, a dangerous person alert was issued regarding the shooting. Officers were responding to the incident, RCMP said in the emergency alert.
According to RCMP in an update around 9 a.m., one person had died. RCMP have identified the suspect as Justin Heimbecker. He is 6-foot-3 and has brown eyes. Heimbecker was last seen on foot and is believed to be armed. His whereabouts, and whether he has access to a vehicle, are unknown at this time.Photo by Supplied photo
Anyone who sees Heimbecker is asked to seek immediate shelter or shelter in place, and to call 911 immediately, RCMP said.The area covered in the alert included and all nearby communities, including Saskatoon, Prince Albert, North Battleford, Martensville, Warman, Dalmeny and more.The news seems to be flying at us faster all the time.
