The two-vehicle collision happened Wednesday on Highway 17 between Kenora and Vermilion Bay
Provincial police said the collision, involving a passenger car and a tractor trailer unit, was reported just after 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday near Richard Lake Road, between Kenora and Vermilion Bay.The driver of the transport was taken to hospital with minor injuries, police added.The highway was closed for several hours. It reopened early Thursday morning.
