the documentary she co-directed. It tells the story of her life, and in doing so, examines the struggles and successes of Black models on and off the runway. Hardison chatted with us about everything from the highs and lows of the legendaryfashion show, to growing up in Bedford Stuyvesant in the 1950s and leading the charge to demand more diversity on the runway.
