Jamaica, the 37th-ranked nation which made a Cinderella run to the round of 16 at the Women's World Cup in August, was eliminated from Olympic contention with the loss. After beating Jamaica 2-0 on the road on Friday, Canada held the advantage as the two-game series moved back north. It won 4-1 on aggregate.
