Defending lightweight champion Olivier Aubin-Mercier will welcome free-agent signee Shane Burgos to the Professional Fighters League cage on April 14.
Aubin-Mercier is currently on riding the momentum of a six-bout winning streak under the PFL banner. His run to the 2022 lightweight title included wins over Schulte, Manfio, Martinez and Ray. Prior to signing with PFL, “The Canadian Gangster” went 7-5 during a stint in the UFC from 2014 to 2019.
Burgos, meanwhile, signed with PFL after compiling an 8-3 mark with the UFC. “Hurricane” last appeared at UFC on ABC 3, where he earned a majority decision triumph against.
