The Ohio State women's basketball team has earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will face the winner of the First Four game between Missouri State and Florida State.

The Buckeyes finished the regular season winning seven of their last eight games, but went 1-1 in the Big Ten Tournament, beating Michigan State in the quarterfinals before falling to Indiana in the semifinals. Ohio State is led by All-Big Ten guards Jacy Sheldon and Taylor Mikesell, who average 19.5 and 18.8 points per game, respectively.
