Her tweet came after Trump repeatedly said at a White House coronavirus task force briefing this week that an anti-malaria drug could treat COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
The drug has not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat COVID-19, however. Last week, NBC News reported that an Galonski’s tweet garnered significant attention, receiving more than 72,000 likes and 20,000 retweets this week.
